MTCC Emergency & Weather Text Alerts
McDowell Technical Community College offers an emergency and weather text alert system to notify you of last-minute school closings and other urgent campus updates. By enrolling, you can receive timely notifications directly on your mobile phone.
For security reasons, direct self-enrollment in the text alert system is only available on campus using an MTCC computer. You may sign up at student-use computers located in the Library or in Student Services, both located in Building 11.

If you are currently on campus and using an authorized MTCC computer, you may sign up directly for text alerts using the secure online form.

If you are off campus or not using an authorized MTCC computer, you may request to be added to the text alert system by emailing our IT staff. Please include your full name and the cell phone number where you want to receive alerts.
