The Emergency Medical Science Bridge program is designed for credentialed paramedics who have already completed portions of their EMS training through North Carolina Community College Continuing Education programs. This program allows you to build on your experience and earn your Associate in Applied Science degree with 45 semester hours of credit already granted.
What You’ll Learn
Students complete the remaining 29 semester hours of coursework to enhance their skills and qualifications, focusing on advanced emergency medical practices and leadership in the field.

45340BR (Associate Degree Bridge Program)
The Emergency Medical Science bridge program has been established for students that have completed portions of their EMS requirements through NC Community College Continuing Education program. Currently credentialed Paramedics would receive 45 semester hours of credit toward the AAS degree. The remaining course work to complete the degree will require 29 additional semester hours of work outlined below.
