This course is designed to provide a review of the Nurse Aide I core content to prepare individuals who have been or are currently listed on a Nurse Aide I Registry, have successfully completed a state-approved training program, hold a state-recognized health care credential from any state, or as military personnel who have had medical/corpsman training to test for the Nurse Aide I State Exam.
This is a 40-hour course composed of 24 online curriculum hours and 16 lab hours for skills review. The Nurse Aide I Refresher course is approved by the Division of Health Services Regulations (DHSR).
This class is limited to the first 10 eligible students, and it must have 6 eligible students enrolled for the class to make.
Class Dates: February 13, 2026 - March 14, 2026
Schedule: Only two seated days. The rest will be online. The last two days of class will be the seated portion which will be on March 13th and 14th. From 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Total Hours: 40 Hours
Cost: Tuition and Fees - $181.30, Certification Costs: NNAAP Certification through Credentia of $140 (combined written test and skills test)
Credential: NC Division of Health Service Regulation Nurse Aide Certification
Supplies: Must have a computer with internet access.
Students must meet with the Program Coordinator to discuss eligibility and collect required documentation. Students must have access to the internet with a computer that has a working camera and microphone.
