A possible source of educational assistance for unemployed and/or underemployed individuals is Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) benefits, a federal program of the United States Department of Labor.

NC Works Career Center is located at the Ford Miller Employment and Training Center at 316 Baldwin Avenue in Marion.
If you are an adult, Mr. Hensley can refer you to the appropriate person who manages the adult program through Isothermal Planning and Development Commission.
