McDowell Technical Community College is excited to announce that it is now a member of the National CyberWatch Center, the largest network of Information Security educators and institutions of higher education in the world.

Tax Time !

It is that time of year again--TAX Time! Students, if you would like to have your Form 1098T as fast as possible, you will need to consent online for receipt of this information. It is easy as 1, 2, and 3! First, log into your WebAdvisor; Second, select the “1098 Electronic Consent” link; and Third, click the consent option and hit submit. Click on the headline above for a screenshot of where to find this in your Web Advisor.
***If you would still like your form sent to you by snail mail you do not need to do this. Electronic forms will be available for viewing the last week in January.

Introduction to Windows 10

Introduction to Windows 10 begins February 4, 2021. Registration is open and runs through February 2nd. Topics include basic computer terminology, launching and managing applications, utilizing the Windows 10 environment including File Explorer. Students will be shown how to work with documents, create new files/folders, how to save and rename files/folders, how to work with text including editing, inserting, highlighting, and deleting text. Students will also be shown the basics of the most popular browsers and search engines in use today.
