Aromatherapy 101

Course Description

This beginner course explores the basics of Aromatherapy and uses of Essential Oils. There are many excellent sources of Essential Oils.
 
This is a NONBRAND SPECIFIC class.
 
The focus of this class will be education on essential oils, understanding essential oil terminology, and how to safely select and use essential oils in your home. We will explore the foundations of Aromatherapy and Essential Oils; common essential oils (their uses, effects, and side effects). In the second half of the class, participants will create their own antiviral essential oil blend, plus at least one bonus project. Your materials fee also includes hand outs, instructions for some fun essential oil blends and vendor list to begin your own essential oil arsenal. 
 
Class Date: February 27, 2021
 
Times: 9:30am-2:00pm with a 30 minute break around noon (feel free to bring a snack and beverage, campus café is not open on Saturday's), Virtual attendance available upon request
 
Location: William Harold Smith Building 19 Room 110
 
Cost: $25 due at registration + $25 materials fee due day of class
