McDowell Technical Community College is a partner in the “12 in 6” JobsNOW initiative for North Carolina. The College is offering career training paths that will prepare participants for employment within the service area. Each pathway is designed to be completed in 6 months or less. Tuition assistance may be available for qualifying dislocated workers being served by our local JobLink Career Center. The funding for this project was made available by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009 and administered through the North Carolina Department of Commerce, the Workforce Development Board and the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS). MTCC is offering training in the following pathways: Certified Nursing Assistant Students will also benefit from the Career Readiness training offered through our Human Resources Development Department located at our JobLink Center.
