Position Title: Dialysis Technology Instructor
Position Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Dean of Health Science and in accordance with the overall plan of the college, the principal purpose of this position is to establish effective learning conditions for all students through the design, planning, organization, execution and the evaluation of student performance in assigned areas, curriculum courses, classes, or programs. Other duties of the position involve advisement, counseling, maintaining scheduled office hours, recommending textbooks/materials, curriculum revisions and following MTCC policies. Minimum Qualifications:
Required degree: Associate Degree in Nursing.
Preferred degree: Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
Required: Shall hold a current unrestricted license as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina and have a minimum of two calendar years prior full-time employment or the equivalent in clinical nursing practice as a registered nurse and two years experience in hemodialysis nursing. Excellent oral and written communication skills and computer literacy required. Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule that may entail day, evening and weekend hours.
Salary: Based upon Institutional Salary Plan.
Term of Employment: Full-time
