In the past ten years, the MTCC Foundation has sponsored Special Events such as a Barbeque and Bluegrass event, a cruise raffle, and a Christmas in Autumn campaign. There have been several Annual Campaigns, but the Endowment Campaign was the largest and most successful.
The MTCC Foundation completed a three year Endowment Campaign in December 2006, which raised over $196,000. The interest earned will be used to fund needed projects for the college.
In the past several years, several Scholarship funds have been established: the George Ellis Scholarship (for students in the nursing field), the William Max Hemphill Foundation Scholarship, and the Sandra Ayers Scholarship. The William E. Crook Scholarship has been endowed (for graphic design students) for over 15 years. The most recent endowed Scholarship (for nursing students) is one set up by Bud Hogan for his daughter Vicki Hogan.
The Crane Resistoflex Foundation has been a consistent donor over the years to the MTCC Foundation, giving to the Endowment Campaign, for Childcare Assistance and for Scholarship.
