McDowell Technical Community College is proud to announce 58 students earned Microsoft Certification during the 2014-2015 school year. MTCC is a certified Certiport Testing Center currently offering Microsoft Office Certification in the following areas: Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
More than a simple credential, Microsoft Office Specialist certification notifies prospective employers that a certified applicant is prepared to make immediate contributions in the workplace. They will be qualified to meet greater challenges, possessing the knowledge and ability to be more productive and share information in a compelling, intuitive manner.
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics lists Microsoft Office as the second highest skill set required for high-growth/high-wage occupations, with oral and written communication skills being first.
